Appearance: As many of the Indian race are known for their physical beauty, Rakshata is no exception to this. At the top, a long, wavy crowning glory of blonde. Her skin is of a bronzed perfection, with a body as if it were blessed by the gods and chiseled by the hands of a legendary artist. Upon her forehead rests a diamond-shaped bindi of a cerulean shade. If one were vertically staring her down, one may notice her nose protruding outwards with her nostrils facing the ground rather than outward. Then, we move to the eyes of the Engineering professor, a gray-blue tint which matches the color of the aforementioned bindi. As the final noticeable trait upon her face, her lips are always painted in her preferred color, a beige-tone. Aside from her face, Rakshata also exemplifies physical appeal through other ways. Her body shape is slim and lithe; a fine winner of the genetic lottery. This fact does not go unnoticed by Rakshata: in fact, she even goes as far to show off her physical form by wearing clothing that many of her own students would be wearing. Except, to maintain a sense of hierarchy and respect for her learning, she maintains a white labcoat over her clothes. Another eccentricity about her is the fact that either in her hands or held in her mouth is a long wooden pipe with a golden tip for the mouth and to release the smoke. Personality: Rakshata is one of those mystery women that you could never tell what she is really thinking until she says it. And when she does, there is often a trademark Cheshire cat grin on her lips. She has the poker face of a professional gambler and all of the questionable traits of one too. Only when she finds something interesting is when she reveals her feelings on a subject. However, when it comes to socializing, unless in the presence of people she feels comfortable, she is rather withdrawn and only speaking when she feels like it. Aside from her questionable behavior, her reputation for her intelligence when it comes to scientific breakthroughs is notorious, especially considering her age. Also known to many is the fact in which she has a disliking to talking about the past, for reasons unknown to the general public. When it comes to her creations, she often refers to them lovingly as her "children," and expects them to be taken well care of when she has to leave them in the hands of others. Despite her eccentricities, Rakshata is one of those mysterious women that have yet to be cracked—which is a similar feeling, to her, when it comes to matters of science. History: Born to Indian parents in Uttar Pradesh, she grew up in great privilege. Her father was a member of the Indian government as an upper house of Rajya Sabha for his work in the scientific field. Although she had an affluent family, unlike many of the Indian peoples, her family would soon become one of the fallen as a scandal would break out between her father and one of his discoveries as it was believed he was planning on breaking ethical regulations for his tests. Upon this scandal, the Chawla family was banished from the Indian government and Rakshata and her family would have to be sent into hiding. When she was 12, she was sent to live in America with her family kept in hiding. For a time, events went well and good until another incident occurred six years later in which the Indian family was deported back to India. However, her time in America had treated Rakshata well as she graduated from a college preparation school and was eventually accepted into the Imperial Colchester Institute where she would study from her bachelor's to doctorate in both Engineering and Physics. Throughout this time, she grew distant from her family and began to ignore them in order to focus on her studies. Eventually, she succeeded in discovering the Radiation Surge and Gefjun Disturber. After her research findings granted her greater notoriety, she began to move to a place where she could study in peace and with more interesting students, and thus, found herself at Evergrove University. | |
